Tenses: Past continuous - Elementary Level

The past continuous tense is used to talk about actions that were happening at a specific time in the past. At the elementary level, you’ll learn the basic form (was/were + verb-ing), practice making positive and negative sentences, and choose the correct verb endings. For example: I was cooking yesterday at 5 pm or They were studying at 8 o’clock. These lessons will help you describe what was happening at a certain time or during another event.
