Family & relationships - Upper intermediate Level
At the upper intermediate level, you can go beyond basic family words and talk about more complex relationships. In this unit, you’ll learn vocabulary for in-laws, step-parents, stepchildren, half-siblings, fiancé, fiancée, and partner. You’ll also practice how to describe family dynamics and talk about traditions, marriage, and extended relatives. These expressions will help you discuss family in richer detail and sound more fluent in everyday conversations.
