Basic food and drinks - Upper intermediate Level
Food is one of the most common topics in everyday English, but at the upper-intermediate level, you need more than just “apple” and “bread.” In this unit, you’ll expand your vocabulary to talk about food in detail — from how to describe spoiled ingredients, to the different names for meat, to cooking styles and world dishes. You’ll also practice fruit names beyond the basics and learn how to order or describe food more naturally. By the end, you’ll be able to confidently discuss food in restaurants, in the kitchen, or when traveling abroad.
